They believe it happened in the house of Simon the Tanner in Jaffa, and the place is preserved. In Jaffa, Paul began to talk about the life of Jesus, his sermons and immediately the Roman centurion Cornelius and his family became the first Christians “converted” to monotheistic faith. There are several churches on the territory of Jaffa – closed to visitors and ope to public visits – Armenian, Greek Orthodox, and Catholic Franciscans ones. We will focus on this in our quest tour, as well as take a stroll through the most interesting places of the ancient city.
